Brief

Deakin 2020 students, were given the opportunity to work with the not for profit organisation, Dream Big. Dream Big is based in the Melton area and the organisation has provided us with the opportunity to showcase our design work at an industry level.

The exhibition is for the public to gain an insight into professional design work and how a group of final year design students can use their skills and knowledge to help those who support us within our communities.

Dream Big gave us the task of developing an online presence for them due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Dream Big usually attend schools and the local community to demonstrate many different creative workshops that entail, circus activities and traditional arts. Such as music and painting. Dream Big also demonstrate the importance of wellbeing in one’s life, while not explicitly discussing the topic.

Solution

Our campaign strategy was to create a new sub-brand for Dream Big, to allow them the chance to reach out to their audience on different social media platforms. Our concept is called “Creative Club”. It allows individuals to come together in a time of isolation to demonstrate their creative flair on different challenges that Dream Big artist set to encourage individuals to have a go and maybe learn a thing or two.

The Creative Club has also given Dream Big the opportunity to engage with other individuals all across the world to expand the Dream Big organisation and to spread the importance of maintaining a strong sense of wellbeing.
