An issue became apparent to the Eco Centre community that culturally and linguistically diverse communities weren’t establishing a connection to Port Phillip Bay. This gave us the opportunity to target these communities and help them foster feelings through a unique campaign formed to fit their needs and wants, keeping in mind barriers such as language and location.
Our concept ‘Bay360’, is based on Facebook, utilising its revolutionary 360-degree feature which allows the user to explore a diverse range of designed images and scapes. With unique 360-degree bay landscapes, taken from Port Phillip itself. Bay360 allows the audience to explore the area without having to leave their homes.
The outcomes reflect the organic nature of Port Phillip Bay through various shapes, colours and emotions. These solutions are focused on connecting to this audience enabling them to foster connections to the Bay without having to leave their home, while also considering language barriers
