Mami Horike graduated from the Department of Graphic Design, Faculty of Fine Arts, Tama Art University in 2011 and completed the Master’s Program in Graphic Design, Graduate School of Fine Arts, the same university. Marni’s work focuses on illustration and design and has produced a collection of poems and essays, focusing on the expression of the relationship between pictures and words Marni’s work was selected forthe 2015 and 201 6 Japan Book Design Awards, the 2017 Japan Book Design Award Special Award Hokuetsu Kishu Paper Co. Ltd. Award and forthe 2012 Mexico International Poster Biennale.
